Trust rules apply to everyone.
TruRole is designed to make real hiring evidence visible and suspicious behaviour expensive to hide. These are product and acceptable-use rules, not paid features.
Candidates do not pay to get a job
TruRole does not charge work-seekers for finding or trying to find work. Treat any request to pay money to secure an application, interview or job as a serious warning. A legitimate separate statutory check or optional third-party service must be clearly identified, lawful and must not be disguised as a fee for obtaining work.
No scam-only contact channels
Vacancies cannot make Telegram, WhatsApp or Signal the recruitment process. Suspicious off-platform contact can be reported from the vacancy record.
Training must never be a disguised job fee
Some roles genuinely require a licence, qualification or training. Be cautious if a recruiter, employer or intermediary says you must pay their named provider to unlock an application, interview or job. Verify the requirement on the employer or official source. TruRole career-support links show their verification source and are not paid routes into a vacancy.
The employer or authorised recruiter hires — not TruRole
TruRole provides the jobs and application infrastructure. The employer or its authorised recruiter owns the vacancy, assesses candidates and makes the hiring decision. A successful candidate is employed or engaged by the hirer, not by TruRole.
Authority has to be proved
A legal company record is not enough. Direct employers need approved corporate-domain authority and recruiters need a current end-client mandate for the company they represent.
Live hiring has to stay current
Verified vacancies need a fresh hiring signal within each 7-day window. Real application responses and vacancy updates refresh it automatically; if no activity is recorded, the vacancy pauses rather than looking fresh indefinitely.
No fake freshness or duplicate inventory
Reposting preserves history and the same verified vacancy can have multiple authorised hiring channels without becoming multiple public copies.
Paying never buys verification
Hiring plans and one-off payments purchase publication capacity only. Payment does not create a trust badge, ranking advantage or exemption from company, authority, salary or vacancy checks.
External applications stay external
For an external discovery result, TruRole takes you to the identified employer, ATS or job-source destination. TruRole does not submit your application or CV to that external employer merely because the vacancy appears in TruRole search.
External Job Check is not a safety certificate
A low observed-warning result means TruRole did not detect specific warning signals from the information available. It does not prove the advert, employer contact or vacancy is genuine.
CV optimisation must stay truthful
TruRole may improve wording, ordering and ATS-friendly terminology only when the candidate evidence supports it. Unsupported skills, metrics, achievements, employers, titles, dates or qualifications must not be generated into the CV.
Illegal or abusive user content can be reported
Employer/recruiter vacancy content and candidate reviews must not contain fraud, impersonation, threats, hate, harassment, doxxing, unlawful sexual content, criminal facilitation or other illegal material. Reports and moderation appeals can be submitted through Contact → Make a complaint, and urgent job scams can still be reported from the vacancy page.
See something suspicious or unlawful?
Signed-in users can report a suspicious live vacancy from its public hiring record. Anyone affected by review content, fraud, impersonation, illegal content or a moderation decision can use the complaint route. Payment requests and impersonation are treated as severe trust signals. TruRole can pause content while reports are reviewed and preserves relevant audit evidence.
Online-safety governance
TruRole accounts are intended for adults aged 18+. Public job and early-career pages can be viewed without an account, so TruRole does not rely on that account rule alone when assessing whether children may access the service. The operator's production compliance register includes Online Safety Act scope, illegal-content risk and children's-access assessments, with additional safeguards required if those assessments put any part of the service in scope.
