Candidates

Free CV review+

TruRole reviews the career evidence you provide and gives practical content/readability guidance. It does not pretend there is one universal ATS score, and it never invents missing experience.

Application preparation, CV Optimiser and cover letter+

You can choose a saved CV or upload one and create both a truthful job-specific CV optimisation and a role-specific cover-letter draft. The live generator requires a free candidate account before processing the CV and vacancy; you can then review, edit and download the finished documents without a separate charge.

Match your CV to a job+

TruRole can compare the evidence in your CV with a real vacancy and surface relevant supported evidence plus genuine gaps. The comparison is guidance, not a universal ATS score and not a guarantee of an interview or hiring decision.

Job-search help after redundancy+

If you have been made redundant, TruRole can help with the job-search side: capture evidence from your recent role, review your CV, find current jobs, compare your experience with vacancies and prepare applications. TruRole does not provide redundancy-rights, benefits or financial advice.

Job-source transparency+

TruRole keeps direct TruRole vacancies and external roles distinguishable, shows the original application destination for external jobs, rechecks external freshness and labels paid Featured visibility. Featured placement is advertising, not a trust or verification badge.

Truthful CV rules+

TruRole may improve wording, structure and job-relevant terminology only when your existing evidence supports it. Unsupported skills, employers, dates, achievements and metrics are not added just to improve screening results.

Check any job+

Paste a public job URL or the advert text into Job Check. TruRole separates observable warning signals from things it cannot verify and, for signed-in candidates, compares the role with saved career evidence.

Candidate privacy+

Candidate CVs are private by default. Anonymous recruiter discovery is opt-in. Search results do not expose name, email, phone, CV, previous employer names or education institutions. Identity/CV access requires a candidate-approved vacancy-specific introduction.

Optional candidate trust badges+

Candidate verification is optional and is never required to search or apply for jobs. Your TruRole login can use a personal email. To earn an email trust badge, enter a separate work/organisation or recognised academic address and confirm the six-digit code sent there. A work address can earn Organisation email verified; a recognised academic address such as a UK .ac.uk email can earn Student email verified. Email badges prove access to that address only, not employment status, job title, enrolment, course, degree result or graduation. Anonymous talent search shows only the badge label, never the underlying email or domain. ID verification is a separate optional provider-backed check and may be administratively unavailable when TruRole is not funding provider charges.

Invite to apply+

If you opt into anonymous talent discovery, an authorised hiring team can invite you to consider a specific verified vacancy. The invite shows the salary, location, work pattern, description, requirements and skills; your identity remains hidden unless you apply or approve an introduction.

Candidate fees+

TruRole does not charge candidates a fee for finding or securing work. If anyone asks you to pay to secure a TruRole vacancy or interview, report it immediately.

Companies & recruiters

Verified vacancies+

A live TruRole vacancy needs a verified company, authorised poster, real salary range, hiring-intent evidence and a current hiring-freshness signal. Stale or escalated vacancies are removed from the active board.

Easy Apply or company ATS+

For each verified vacancy, the hiring team chooses whether candidates apply on TruRole with Easy Apply or continue to the company's own HTTPS careers or ATS application page. Easy Apply can include factual, job-related screening questions; answers are reviewed by people, not used by TruRole for automatic rejection.

AI-assisted job posting+

Hiring teams can paste an existing advert or describe a role in plain language and use TruRole's AI job-post assistant to draft supported vacancy fields such as the title, description, requirements, skills and other facts present in the brief. Missing salary, dates, benefits, authority or other unsupported facts are not invented, and legal or funding declarations remain human confirmations.

Application limits and automatic pause+

For TruRole Easy Apply vacancies, the hiring team can set an optional application limit and choose automatic pause. When the configured cap is reached, TruRole keeps the final allowed application, stops new submissions and puts the vacancy on hold. The hiring team can later raise or remove the limit and reopen applications.

Featured jobs and vacancy boosts+

A live verified TruRole vacancy can buy a clearly labelled Featured placement for extra visibility. Featured roles rank above standard matching jobs only after they match the candidate's search and filters. The authorised purchaser, vacancy owner or direct employer can stop an active Featured placement without closing the vacancy; stopping does not automatically refund the purchase.

Talent discovery+

Companies and authorised recruiters with a current verified vacancy can search opted-in anonymous evidence by role, skills, location and work preference. They can send a transparent invite to apply or request a candidate-approved introduction.

Shortlisting and exports+

Hiring teams can shortlist Easy Apply candidates and export or print the current application view for legitimate recruitment use. Exported personal data should be kept secure and deleted when the hiring/retention purpose ends.

Company verification+

A company must pass legal-entity and corporate-authority checks before publishing a verified direct vacancy. Drafting can start earlier, but public publication is blocked until the trust requirements pass.

Recruiter authority+

Recruiters can represent an end client only when the client company is verified and a current client-approved recruiter mandate covers the vacancy. That authority is checked again when a vacancy is published or candidates are sourced.

Hiring billing+

Hiring plans and add-ons are shown before Stripe checkout. Verification and trust cannot be bought. A live verified vacancy can optionally buy a clearly labelled Featured placement for the published duration without overriding candidate search filters. Featured can be stopped early by an authorised controller, but stopping it does not automatically create a refund.

Other

Priority Applications+

Candidates can mark a limited number of applications as Priority to show genuine interest. Priority cannot be bought and does not change the vacancy trust standard.

Trust, privacy & support

Data rights+

The Privacy Notice explains access, correction, portability, restriction, objection and erasure rights. Signed-in users can submit a data-rights request through the privacy route; support can also guide you to the right process.

Security and suspicious activity+

Do not send passwords, one-time codes or bank credentials through support. Suspicious vacancies can be reported from the job page. Security researchers and users can use the Security page for the responsible-disclosure route.

Sign in and accounts+

TruRole has separate job-seeker, company and recruiter workspaces. Choose the account type that matches what you are doing; administrator access is invitation-only.
